Executive Team
Ernie began his career in the electrical union as an apprentice and went on to be a foreman and master electrician. In May of 1985,
he seized the opportunity to start his own business and founded Electra Link. What started as a two-man
operation has now grown into a company with over 300 employees. Ernie has owned and managed Electra Link for 40 years and counting, successfully expanding it from a small garage into five cities across Texas.
Rob brings 34 years of expertise in low-voltage communications to his role as President of Electra Link. His journey began in the U.S. Army, where he received his foundational training in the field. Since then, Rob has advanced from technician to leadership roles—including foreman, project manager, general manager, vice president, and COO—each position deepening his industry knowledge and honing his skills. His broad experience and proven leadership drive Electra Link’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
As CFO and VP of Electra Link, Inc., Brandy brings 23 years of experience as a CPA, with the last 15 years specializing in the construction industry. Since joining Electra Link seven years ago, she has focused on financial strategy, compliance, and process improvement. Brandy holds an MBA and is recognized for her strong work ethic and integrity, bringing a strategic and analytical approach to financial leadership. In addition to financial leadership, she oversees HR, Legal, Project Assistants, Purchasing, IT, and Fleet, ensuring these departments effectively support Electra Link’s strategic goals.
David has over 18 years of experience in the telecommunications and low-voltage industry, bringing hands-on expertise from field installation to high-level estimation and design strategy. Beginning his career in construction right out of high school, he quickly found his niche in telecom. He worked his way up from a field technician to a project manager. He has overseen multimillion-dollar projects across various markets. Since joining Electra Link in 2016, he has transitioned from operations to the Estimation and Design team, leveraging his field experience to accurately estimate complex projects and coordinate seamlessly with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Known for delivering results, David has consistently helped secure and execute large-scale, high-impact projects, bolstered by multiple manufacturer design and engineering certifications that strengthen his technical and strategic capabilities.
Jimmy brings over 33 years of experience in the low-voltage industry, offering deep expertise and institutional knowledge across a wide range of complex projects. Throughout his career, he has successfully bid, designed, and completed hundreds of projects involving Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), wireless technologies, and various low-voltage systems, including security, access control, LAN, and Ethernet structured cabling. Jimmy excels at aligning Electra Link’s personnel and resources with client goals, ensuring seamless project planning, execution, and management. His leadership in workforce coordination and departmental operations plays a pivotal role in delivering successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
Gary Don brings 35 years of expertise in low-voltage communications to Electra Link. He began his career in the Telecommunication Industry as a Distribution Territory Sales Manager, where he gained experience, knowledge, and general industry understanding. Since then, he has progressed from a distribution territory sales manager, to a manufacturer sales manager, and presently the Director of Business Development. Each of these positions allowed a broadening and deepening of his industry knowledge and honing his skills. His broad experience and proven leadership drive Electra Link’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Russell brings over 37 years of experience in Low Voltage Communications to his role as General Manager. His career began in the construction industry and evolved into a lifelong path in low voltage systems. Starting at Electra Link as an installer, he rose through the ranks—technician, foreman, project manager, operations manager—gaining deep industry knowledge along the way. With a strong foundation in the trades and proven leadership, Russell drives Electra Link’s commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence.
Jason brings over 23 years of experience in the low-voltage industry to his role as General Manager of Electra Link’s Dallas operations. Since starting his career in 2001 as a field helper, he has steadily progressed through key roles—including Project Manager—gaining valuable hands-on leadership experience along the way. Today, Jason leverages that knowledge to lead the Dallas team, ensuring operational excellence and delivering on Electra Link’s promise of quality and client-focused service.
Bob brings over 34 years of global experience in the communications industry to his role as General Manager of Electra Link’s Austin and San Antonio operations. His career began in the military, where he gained extensive technical and leadership experience. After several years of Project Management in the Austin market he took on a role as senior manager over Navy base network implementations. After the Navy contract, Bob founded and operated his own company, building fiber networks for NATO across Afghanistan. Upon returning to the U.S., he joined Electra Link, where he now leads regional operations with a focus on reliability, innovation, and service excellence.
Jay is a U.S. Navy Veteran (1991) and an experienced industry leader. Starting as a helper and excelling as a technician, Jay advanced through roles including Project Manager, Lead Estimator, Branch Manager, and Outside Sales for distribution. He later served as a Regional Sales Representative for a major manufacturer before moving into Sales and Operations Management. Today, as General Manager, Jay leverages more than three decades of technical, operational, and sales expertise to lead teams, strengthen customer relationships, and drive organizational growth.
Collin Long is an experienced operations and strategic account leader with over 20 years in communications infrastructure, technology services, and organizational leadership. As the Strategic Account Manager at Electra Link, Inc., he drives long-term enterprise partnerships by leveraging his expertise in operations, project delivery, and client relationship management.
Collin has held progressive leadership roles across the DFW and Oklahoma markets, including General Manager and senior operations positions overseeing multi-state teams, infrastructure performance, and strategic growth within major communications and technology organizations.
Lachele is a forward-thinking HR Manager with 14 years of experience in building dynamic, people-centered workplaces. She specializes in strategic talent management, benefits administration, employee engagement, and cultivating inclusive cultures that drive organizational success. Passionate about continuous improvement, Lachele leverages innovative HR practices to support professional growth and align people strategies with business goals.
Brad has 35 years of experience in low-voltage communications and is currently the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager at Electra Link. He started in 1994 as a network cabling technician after transitioning from an outboard boat mechanic. Over the years, he has progressed through various roles, including foreman, superintendent, and project manager. His focus on continuous improvement and adaptability makes him a key team member. Brad ensures projects meet high-quality standards through his strategic insight and attention to detail, fostering a collaborative environment that motivates team members and helps Electra Link exceed client expectations.
Christy brings over 18 years of experience in the safety field, starting her career as a deputy constable and later working in chemical production, where she focused on procurement, freight, HR, and safety. After more than a decade in those roles, she joined Electra Link Inc., where her deep safety knowledge and caring approach have helped transform the company’s safety culture. Christy is committed to empowering employees and fostering a strong, proactive safety environment.
